For the CBSE Class 10 students the board exams will begin on February 15 and will end on March 21, 2023 and for the Class 12 students, the examination will begin on February 15 and will end on April 5, 2023. The examination for Class 10, 12 will be of 3 hours generally that is will begin at 10.30 am and will end at 1.30 pm. CBSE will give 15 minutes reading time to the students of Class 10, 12 to read the question papers. CBSE has already informed that from this session 2022-2023 onwards, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct single board exam for Classes 10th and 12th. As per the official notice, the Board has prepared the date sheet keeping competitive exams, including JEE Main exam dates in consideration. These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 40,000 subjects’ combinations to ensure that no two subjects examination of a student’s fall on the same date. The topics removed from the CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2022-23: Major ones include democracy and diversity, Mughal courts, and poems by Faiz Ahmed Faiz from the syllabus. Chapters on Popular Struggle Movement and Challenges to Democracy have also been removed.
